By the forest road to the left of Kartalka peak, you can go to the rock formations in the places of the Barn's chair and Kazankite.

The Natural Landmark "The Barber's Chair" (50 decares) was created for the purpose of preserving a rock formation. It was proclaimed in 1974. The rock formation is situated in an oak and linden forest about 500 m. away from the forest road that goes to the village of Planinovo. A lot of legends related to the haidoukish times, riches and heroic feats are all around the barber's chair.

From the waterfalls of Zdravchevsko Dere - Kazankite - situated south of Kartalka peak you can go along the forest road to the village of Planinovo and descend to the valley of Zdravchevsko ridge and Kuza place. To the left of the road there is a turn-off for the beautiful Kazanite locality. It leads to a forest field and from there you can descent through the forest slopes to the Zdravchevsko dere River in the Kazankite area. The river has formed in its bed a series of thresholds, small waterfalls and stone boilers, sculpting them in solid granite, and forming a small cascade, about a kilometer long, along which there are pleasant resting places. Often in July the river is drying up, but in the spring and early summer the place is enchantingly beautiful.

To the right on the way to Vishhegrad peak there is a turn-off for Bakalov Kladenets long 2.5 km, where there are remains of several dolmens and funeral chambers.

After Kartalka peak, the route continues ascent to the Scriptures Stone - a place with a group of granite canals, called so because of the memorial plate placed on the biggest rock in honor of the builders of the road Topolovgrad - Vishegrad peak in 1936-1938. The Scriptures Stone and rock complex east of it are rock cult religious object of the ancient inhabitants of the Sakar Mountains. From there you can see the fascinate view of the north-western part of the Sakar Mountains and the lands of the village of Sakartsi and the village of Hlyabovo.

The asphalt road soon reaches the ridge of the mountain at the branch "Malkata zvezda", and shortly after, the vast meadows are found in front of the Sakar leader - Vishegrad peak (856 m). Access to the top is limited because there is a division of the Bulgarian Army. At Vishegrad peak there are remains of a Thracian tomb and a big citadel. If we explore this place, we will be able to rewrite the ancient history of Thrace.
